It's only 10AM!!

Woken up by a page, way too early as I slept bout 4.30AM this morning, guess V was kinda windy, it started at 1am, we skipped supper...you can calculate...

Guess I can only blame myself, this week's training did not turn out that well. I forgot to emphasise to HIM not to use the pager frivolously, trivially, lightly (alright they all mean the same but I just need to stress the significance).

HELLO!!!! Do not blame on old age, nor memory when your attitude blatantly indicates that you know help is just round the corner. With all the hot-air you blow, be glad I was still so patient. Asking me what you should have already known....why not ask me what you should cook for lunch....UGH....

Couldn't fall asleep after that as I was thinking how to 'break the news' to HIM in the 'most tactful' manner.....WTF it's all my fault....

Well, at least it's a lesson learnt....

V...v...v...v..

Read good reviews bout it but was still skeptical, turns out to be totally enjoyable :) V is so intense and I just love the 'V' speech he was spouting. Behind his at times verbose nature, this figure seems so tragic. Evey has such a haunting look, locks today, gone tomorrow. Fear gone with hair gone....hmmm...It was kinda funny (the wierd type) when Big Ben went up in the fireworks but it was unfunny imagining it coming true. The tyrants, the curfews (which some has experienced), the bleakness of it all. It's either politics or environment that will end us...reckon it's both

Kacang Putih: 4.5/5
Warning: not for action fans who cannot tahan lengthy dialogues which is more frequent than the fight scene, heard someone commenting that he fall asleep during the 1st explosion and woke up during the 2nd (which is nearly the whole movie!).

M.E.M.O.R.I.E.S. II

Was just going thru my blog...sob, miss my messy lil' corner, the sunset that irritates my eyes. The hours spent surfing at work. The silly antics only silly little girls (at heart) can do...having buddy-gals as nonsensical as you. Munching snacks, creating my wierd potent tonic drink for whatever part of my body I was into....wolfberry tea for eyes, oats for colon, green tea to lower cholestrol. Dressing like a zebra, looking as though it's autumn in a B/W city....

Please be advised that this is momentary only.

The not so Simple Life

Hilarious, the cheeky gals met their match when they interned at a home. One cheeky, cheeky old man kissed paris on her lips and how she blushed hahaha (sounds like some porn intro). Take away their limou, credit cards (the theme kept playing in our head, HE just hummed it again!!?). Though obviously scripted, but the gals can be kinda sweet when they spring surprises on the folks they are staying with or the silly but thoughtful stuff they do like the fashion show, dressing the old folks up and brightening their day. What a pair of twat they can be hahaha.

M.E.M.O.R.I.E.S.

At some memories, I cringe, thinking how stupid could I be. Sometimes I shake my head, yes, I caught myself doing that unwittingly quite a few times and often accompanied by an embarassed smile...haiz makes it even more silly. At times I get angry, very angry indeed. On how some situations is just out of your control. Some are laced with regrets. Makes me wanna blame all these negativity for my frequent memory lapse. Heeheh... Do think my memory has improved tremendously but not as good as pre-poly....trauma or all the booze and.... Whatever, but knowing how pathetic living can be, I'm always fighting against it, thinking I cannot be defeated. It's the "You look me know up, I die die want to prove to you leh" ....flashes of kids at playgound having childish fights (Guess I can blame it on assorted traumas experienced during childhood hahaha). Wanting to know that if I should die, I will without any regrets. Growing older, as I become more cynical and having seen the little ironies of life has led me to conclude that having little regrets is good enough for me to go. Here you are, going about your day as usual or as unusual depending on your suayness on the said day. Then *peng* (sound effect depends on severity of the 'hit') you come across something that triggers off a memory that further triggers more memories and so forth, that $$ may come falling down and you may take quite awhile to realise cos after all the flashbacks you'll be going... a) WTF am I doing... b) Wat would have happened if... c) Wah liao, why couldn't I just tahan d) If only I saved all that $$$ ( while $$ is still falling from the sky as you contemplate on your memories) e) I could have worked as a.....(lawyer, doctor, engineer is out for me)

Enthusiasm over nothing

did some research online bout the conference i'll be going to, seems like it's from fri till mon in aug with elective visits to the local hosp. from tue onwards. there's 2 hotel located in the builing where the conference will be on. wonder which hotel we'll be getting...i dun even mind so long as it's within walking distance. seems like the weather will be fairly humid with lo temp 23 to hi of 36, not tat keen on buying new stuff jus for this trip. wonder if 2 suits' sufficient. maybe go look for a cheapo one. the las time i went was in dec, could walk about in long sleeve tshirts or sweater, nothing special.

as for perth, the weather will be cooler...a lot cooler in fact. reckon my polar-bear fake fleece will come in handy. coldwear would be a good place to look for cheap stuff. tot of shopping over there but wonder if i'll have the chance. las trip was in summer, hot hot day but cold cold nite, esp wen we had to go for breaks and freezed our butt off standing outside the corridor all wrapped up in quantas blanket :P yup we 'took' em.

shan't count my chicks b4 they hatch, who knows there might be las min changes.

yes, gal. if i'm going hk, i'll bring back some egg tarts k :)

ugh...luggage, i only have bagpack and his solo suitcase which is too big...nvm, jus go borrow. ugh, wat to pack for biz trip?!?! feel so grown up and yet seem so surreal.

i still feel like a kid at times, a 'grown-up' kid. no chance of acting stupid or silly all the time.

Good news, bad news

Dunno if it's good or bad but I'll be incharge of this new program cos the colleague heading it will be leaving soon (yet another). Will be attending the meeting for it tomorrow. If I recall correctly, it's a combination of pt/public educational thingy....PFL

Got the other piece of news tdy that I get to go Perth for the pt retreat and the HK conference this year. Most prob in Sept so no clash with my exams. Hopefully I will not be having any tests or projects due during that period.

Looking forward to all the Monday news??

Kinda...

PFL will look good on my resume, good chance to do more coordinating stuff and let me get away from my norm.

Perth is ok since I've been there and do not feel the need to get over-excited. Doubt there's much chance tos hop. Anyway he has been reminding me 'The Thing'.

Been to HK as well but hopefully the trip can be extended and he'll join me for a few days, finally a place he has not been to. HK....

Prayers...

A few times per year, a huge tent is pitched in the empty ground near our block.
We've seen it both in the day and night.
Lions, dragons, cymbals and drums.
People going into trance as they are possessed by various dieties.
I get scared easily by the lion dance but as I grew older, it becomes a facination.
Their dance, the training those under the body has to got through.
Having being surrounded by Taoists while growing up does not make feel alienated. But of cos I do feel more comfortable ina church then temple. The last time I stepped into one was just a few years back....before I got baptised that is.

"I wish I knew how to quit you..."
