Mr Sensodyne irks me when he talks bout drinking soft drinks and fizzy drinks in the same sentence cos to me they're both the same. So I did a wiki and found this:

Soft drink = drink w/o alcohol; originally means carbonated drinks
Fizzy drink = carbonated drink
Hard drink (yes, there's such a term) = drink w/ alcohol
