Slow pace, bit frustrating at times, kinda funny but how did it win anything in Cannes? Oh yah, it's Cannes, not Oscars. Kinda sweet at times.

Give me the book anytime, of cos it's great to see one of your favourite book on-screen but with the international casts. Ken Watanabe was charming, even Nobu and the impressive setting. Gong Li and Michelle Yeah were still fairly platable but I see more Zhang Ziyi then Sayuri and it'll be so much better if it was done in Japanese. How to identify with the characters you tell me?!?!?
