The carrot cake's cooling on the rack, the dishes are in the sink, I was dead tired but after a hiatus of over a week, maybe it's time to post again. Lost post once more? Maybe, what the heck. Copy and paste if need be.

The cake's for a picnic at East Coast Park tomorrow, with my Godparents and their kids and their kids' kids. Yes, it's a huge family, glad to be considered one of them.

Yes we baked, wanted to contribute something that will not poison the people what with the heat and all, I'd rather they poison me. Looks good, he said to whisper when the cake's in the oven or it will sink. LOL kinda cute. I showed him hold to fold the ingredients in and what sifting is. Thanks to the home econs and those days of endless baking.
