Stone Bridge

While searching for some nonsensical stuff online, I chanced upon this photo. I was overcome by an intense sense of longing. I don't know why, but it was a rush of emotions, a flashback of the wonderful journey I had. Yup, the feeling was pretty intense. To return once more would indeed be a blessing.
Prague was our first stop and this bridge captured my heart totally.
The walk across Charles Bridge, the intense cold we experienced at night when returning to our hotel in Malá Strana (Lesser Town). My first sight of snow which felt magical; guess the child in me is pretty strong, LOL. I love the sight of the old buildings, especially with Prague Castle in the background and the 30 statutes of the saints and patron saints erected nearly 300 hundred years ago that accompanies your stroll.
I recall standing at the bridge and gazing into the Vltava River. If not for the presence of Mr. C, I would have stood there for a very long time. Don’t ask me why, but the sight of this river just fascinates me. And yeah, I did wonder how it’ll be like to plunge right into the freezing water. :P
The story behind this photo is equally amazing. http://www.triplefstudio.com/car7/Jon/jrequest.htm
