Every Saturday
Saturday Nite = Movie Nite
Started over a year back.
It is now equivalent to a Bali trip staying at HRC for 4day 3 night by SQ.
Haz goes 'Oh!'
Oh indeed, am I a movie buff or is there simply nothing to do in our-tiny-red-dot?
There are plenty of stuff (another blog, another list) to do but it has been decided: 1 night a week for movies, and Saturday happens to be the most convenient. We can catch a late show, and get to do whatever we want to before that....shopping, dinner, meeting friends, just chilling out...
Anyway I do enjoy movies a lot and I love performances especially. However, a rather lethargic bank account has made me fairly selective, there are many performances I've got to miss. But no worries as most them do return again.
Though more affordable, not every movie released is on my 'must-watch' list. I must say we can be quite suay...very suay in fact...we have frequent encounters of the '3rd kind':
1) People with 'long' legs that hits against your seat throughout the show, talk about 'joy' rides.
2) SMSing during movies...thus providing a ray of light during the darkest moment.
3) Story teller and his buddy 'Mr/Ms What happen?'
4) The "I'm watching movie, I'll call you back but why are you calling me when I am watching a movie,oh it's the movie with (names at least 3 of the casts) in it. It's about aliens attacking earth or love story with a dying lead or men fighting men/machines....not urgent huh? ok lor ok lor I call you back hor, what time you sleep huh? ok ok bye bye. Wait for my call hor..." Starting off as a whisper, it gradually becomes a full-fledged conversation as the plot of the movie thickens.
