The Colour of Grey

In death,we learn and in death we feel. All the articles about blogging over the weekend got me thinking. Hey, even Sumiko Tan wrote about it.

The significance of a blogger's blog- An online diary.

A pad-locked pocket-sized book with cartoons or flowers and over it, marked "My Secret Diary'.

A vast difference, what was once personal, is now out in the open. Regardless, whether your blog is anonymous or had won rave reviews. Our secret thoughts, opinions and whatnots are revealed. It says much about the amalgamation of us & technology.

She blogged, she shared. One of her many thoughts were captured in her last entry. Deaths and blogs are no strangers. We have witnessed numerous postings from people fighting their battle against diseases. But to leave like this, is tragic and senseless. It takes guts and the utmost sense of hopelessness. It once was my long-term companion too and still visits occassionally.

Sadness for her, sadness for her friends, sadness for her loved ones. May she rest in peace.

Would we love more and fight less if pain was never present?
Would we settle for less if we are aware of how little time we have?

No one controls how our diaries were written and no one shall control our blogs.
But know that someone is reading and for every word you write there will be people who disagree.
For every statement you make, you may bring joy as well hurt another.
It is stupid, and very dumb to label people. I am often guilty of it myself.

Being aware of the political situation does not indicate an interests.
Being aware of education does not indicate interests.
I am aware of movies and they are my interest.
I am aware of chocolate and they are my love.

Be aware that life is fragile.
Be aware that time waits for no man.
A last kiss. A final farewell.
